About DURESCA® High Tension Busway

Fully insulated busways are used to ensure connections between medium and High Voltage equipment such as generator, switchgear or transformer.

The DURESCA® busways have their field of application from 12 to 170kV and up to 7000A.

The DURESCA® busway system provides a compact and a fully electrically shielded solution for power plants, substations, offshore windfarms.

The reduced bending radius allows the application in limited spaces. The individually insulated busbars are simple and quick to install and guarantee a long service life, maintenance and partial discharge free operation.

The DURESCA® busways also withstand extreme conditions on offshore platforms, in petrochemical industries, and also in the desert with high sun exposure and temperatures above 50°C.

The DURESCA busway system is available in two versions:

  • DE type with polyamide protection tube in IP67
  • DG type with metallic protection tube in IP67

  • IEC60137 edition 7.0: Insulated bushings for alternating voltages above 1 000 V
  • SN EN 50673-2019: Plug-in type bushings for 72,5 kV with 630 A and 1 250 A for electrical equipment
  • IEC 60815-1 to -4: Selection and dimensioning of high-voltage insulators intended for use in polluted conditions
  • IEC 60865-1 edition 3.0: Short-circuit currents – Calculation of effects
